Athena Cares Community Clothing Closet

We are excited to announce that our Athena Middle School Clothing Closet is up and running. We collected donations of gently used clothing and, thanks to a $250 grant from Thrivent, were able to buy clothing racks and other organizers. Now, when students in our school have clothing needs, they can select items free of charge.

Book Bag Day at Athena Middle Raises Funds for Ronald McDonald House

We had a Book Bag day in December to raise money for the Rochester Ronald McDonald House. Thanks to strong support from the middle school students, we collected $252, which enabled us to buy materials to make 150 snack bags. When families leave the Ronald McDonald House in the morning to spend the day at the hospital with their sick children, they can grab these bags of snacks and drinks.
