At the end of June, during the garage sale, we found out that our 2nd well had been drilled. Ours is Water for South Sudan's 344th well, and it is located in the village of Eastern Bank in Roc-Roc Dong, Wau, South Sudan. The village chief is Dhol Akol Ngor. 8°07'02.7"N 28°01'04.0"E

3rd Annual Water for South Sudan Garage Sale

Thanks to all who donated items and all who braved the 100 degree heat, our 3rd annual Water for South Sudan garage sale brought in $844.93. Every penny goes directly to WFSS to build wells and provide clean water to villages.

We even had a special surprise visitor stop by to support our efforts!!

Courtyard Cleanup- Phase 1

We spent last Saturday doing our first round of  cleanup in our courtyard- weeding, pulling up dead bushes, planting new perennials, and adding new mulch to the landscaped areas. What a difference a little TLC made! Thank you to Van Putte Garden Center and Wegmans for their generous donations that made our work possible...

Our First Clothing Bazaar

We held our first building-wide Clothing Bazaar on Wednesday, April 25, along with the high school's Community Club. We plan to have this be a monthly event for the families in our community who need a helping hand.
