CURE Childhood Cancer Million Penny Drive

Athena Cares participated again in this year's CURE Childhood Cancer Million Penny Drive, and together our middle school raised $605.15!! What an amazing way to show that we care!

Special thanks go out to the homerooms who collected the most. In third place, with $50.06 in donations was Mrs. Olbrich's class. In second place, with $60.92 was Mrs. Bruno's class. And the winners of the doughnut party, with $90.80 was Mrs. Richardson's homeroom.

Willow Center Donation Collection

In November, we sponsored a donation collection for the Willow Domestic Violence Center in Rochester. We collected items from their Wish List and delivered them to the center, which supports families who have been impacted by abuse.

Bell Ringing for the Salvation Army Red Kettle Drive

Members of Athena Cares gathered on two night to ring bells for the Salvation Army Red Kettle Drive. Their infectious spirit and singing garnered lots of generous donations. Despite the cold and snow, they spent 4 hours spreading holiday cheer and raising funds to support our community.
